Working with a leading Filter technology company, Pump Supplies have developed a high flow submersible filter pump incorporating the best in available filter technology and the best in electric submersible pump technology. This unique and innovative design promotes the safety of eels and fish life within raw water environments.
In this example the pumps are being used to abstract water from a pit / reservoir to provide flow to supplement a local river. The flow is monitored, measured and controlled to fully comply with the abstraction license whilst also complying with the screening requirements of preventing transference of invasive species and the entrapment, entrainment or impingement of eel at the point of abstraction.
