The Construction Plant Hire Association (CPA) is an established organisation with influence within the construction industry and Government on all matters relating to construction and the hire of plant. All our equipment is hired under the CPA Model Conditions for the Hiring of Plant (July 2011)

The Association of Electrical and Mechanical Trades (AEMT) is the international association for all companies who supply, install, service maintain and repair industrial machinery technology such as pumps, electric motors, drives, fans, gearboxes, transformers, generators and ancillary equipment. The AEMT also provide cutting edge training for engineers required to complete EX pump repairs, which is a service we offer at 3 of our fully equipped depots.

The Achilles Utilities Vendors Data Base (UVDB) is the community for the UK utilities industry. It enables the utilities sector to use Achilles’ proven supplier pre-qualification system to manage risk within the supply chain and comply with EU regulations. Launched in 1996, Achilles UVDB is the largest Achilles community that is also used by the airports and ports sector. Achilles UVDB is managed by a Steering Group comprising of utility buyers to drive industry best practice. We also subscribe to the UVDB Verify prequalification scheme.

The Freight Transport Association (FTA) is one of the UK’s largest trade associations and represents the transport interests of companies moving goods by road, rail, sea and air. The FTA represents the needs of the logistics industry at local, national and European level, campaigns to raise awareness of the logistics industry, informs members about the latest compliance issues and provides training to improve the knowledge and skills of drivers and managers within the industry.

The Electrical Contractors Association (ECA) is the UK’s largest trade association that supports and represents electrical, electro-technical contractors and installers and the wider building engineering industry across England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
